About Me

Rachael Bloom - LCSW

Hi, and welcome. My name is Rachael Bloom, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I’ve been practicing for over 15 years.

After spending many years working with women dealing with mood disorders, perfectionism, and ADHD, I added a Maternal Mental Health component to my practice in 2018. Following my own experience with infertility and IVF, my colleague, Hilary Tuck, and I set out to create Infertility Support of California, with a mission to provide thoughtful and evidenced based support throughout the fertility journey.

I work from an attachment lens,  which means that  I focus on how our early experiences with relationships, trauma and loss continue to impact how we navigate the world as adults. I combine this foundation with cognitive therapies that teach us how to identify and reconstruct unhelpful patterns.

My clinical background includes certification or extended training in the following:

  • Certification in Reproductive Mental Health through the American Society of Reproductive Medicine
  • Fully trained in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.
  •  Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals
  •  Emotionally Focused Therapy for Infertility
  •  Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma
  • Training in working with Termination for Medical Reasons (TMFR)

My approach to therapy is educational and authentic, offering you tools and emotional space to process your experience, make informed decisions, and move forward with clarity and strength.
