Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on identifying unhelpful patterns of thinking and learning to recognize cognitive distortions. It operates from a belief that changing how we think about things directly impacts how we feel. We'll work to identify and transform negative thought patterns while developing effective coping strategies for emotional challenges.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps people change their relationship to difficult thoughts and feelings, rather than fighting with them. The goal isn’t to eliminate grief, fear, or uncertainty, but to help you carry them differently so they have less control over your life. ACT is especially helpful when stress or trauma has narrowed your world. Together, we build psychological flexibility—so you can stay present, respond with intention, and take meaningful steps even when things are hard. We clarify your values (what matters most), identify patterns that keep you stuck, and create small, doable actions that move you toward more relief, connection, and purpose over time.
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
CPT is an evidence-based trauma therapy. Failed cycles, pregnancy loss, TMFR, medical trauma, and loss of agency, can all cause distressing thoughts and beliefs about oneself and about the future. CPT aims to help clients make sense of their experiences, identify negative beliefs, and create an alternative narrative that is both more balanced and more accurate.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT is an attachment focused therapy and can be used to help navigate core feelings and attachment needs that arise during infertility treatment. Infertility can bring up all kinds of emotions related to loneliness, disconnection, and feelings around self-worth. EFT focuses on increasing connection, understanding our needs, strengthening emotional awareness, and building self-compassion. EFT is also a great tool for couples who are struggling with how best to support one another.
Self Compassion
Self Compassion has three core components: Mindfulness, Self-Kindness, and Common Humanity. We use this combination of being in the present moment, treating ourselves with kindness, and recognizing the universality of human suffering to reduce feelings of isolation, overwhelm, and self-criticism.
Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy
AEDP (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) is an attachment-based, emotion-focused therapy that helps people safely access, process, and transform difficult emotional experiences in the context of a supportive therapeutic relationship. AEDP is also widely used in the treatment of trauma. Rather than only talking about symptoms, AEDP gently guides you to notice what’s happening in the body, name emotions as they arise, and move through them. Over time, this work can help you make space for grief without being overwhelmed by it, quiet the anxious spiral and intrusive ‘what ifs,’ and reconnect with a sense of meaning, hope, and safety.
